Fabrics & Fiber

The fabric is made using 20% recycled cotton, reducing the use of virgin resources.

Treatments

Nebulization treatment applies targeted spray technology to reduce the use of water and chemicals in the washing process.

Alternative to potassium permanganate: this product is treated with a lower impact chemical substitute for potassium permanganate.

Lower impact pigment dyes: this product is dyed using pigments compliant with the Zero Discharge of Hazardeous Chemicals (ZDHC) guidelines. Diesel is a ZDHC member and is working towards a more responsibly chemical management system.

Low impact washing cycle: this product is treated with a short cycle wash, reducing the use of water in the washing process.

Trims

All Diesel Library products are made exclusively using lower-impact trims, which include: - Zippers made using recycled polyester or organic cotton tape - Non-galvanized buttons and rivets - "Diesel Industry" stripe and care label made using recycled polyester
